indexthumb is a moving image artist and performer queering your eyes and ears. Combining multi-channel video, contemporary movement, transpersonal psychology, and theatrical stagings of space, they create multimedia installations that investigate queer and trans* psyches, embodied translations and complex spatial (in)visibilities. Their work dissects the tendency of masculine performance to obscure identity, creating space for playful and transformative readings of bodies read as male to emerge.
