I’m a filmmaker and performance artist working with moving image, photography and performance.

 

In my interdisciplinary practice, I build interactive installations that host virtual embodiments of myself to explore queer perception, virtual space, and the ways in which images and bodies produce each other.

 

I'm particularly interested in producing an awareness of the materiality of frame-based bodies, and the active processes of spatial assemblage and identity construction, with their implicit parallels to queer self-authorship and trans+ experience.

I center my body as a phenomenological site

of investigation, generating

material by combining 16mm film and digital visual effects with a dance practice based in contemporary improvisation and somatics.
