Call On Me Me Me sets out to alchemize the relationships between three generations of fathers and sons. Through a series of overlapping interviews, the artist and their father dissolve the boundaries that have separated them as men, conjuring in their place a sonic field of possibility that shimmers with the potential of re-interpreting their genders, histories, and bodies.

 

Three films play within the space on hanging screens, depicting a surreal choreography performed by the artist as they attempt to  embody their ancestors' and their own past, guided by archival family materials and a shared transcendental impulse. Shot initially on a combination of 16mm film and digital, the videos run off live software to create a work that will never repeat itself, an alchemical process that is as incomplete, transformative, and alive as the relationships it articulates.
